I have always considered all of our pets, members of the family. After all the unconditional
love and devotion they shower us with, how can we not mourn for them the same we do
when a human passes. Just like people we lose, I believe our pets should never be
forgotten, their personality, their funny quirks, everything they ever did to make us smile.
Since we've opened Furry Fanatics, the one thing I've noticed, is how people light up
when they talk about their animals. Whether past or present, nothing makes a person
smile like talking about their furry children.

Tim & I lost our oldest dog, Jake, about four months and our second oldest baby, Gracie,
just last week. Not an easy couple of months for sure. We thought it would be nice to start
a Memorial Page on our website in their honor, that people could go to, post a picture of
their pet/pets they've lost and share what they want to with others. It can be just a picture,
a funny story or your fondest memory.

We're going to get you started with what we consider, two of the best dogs to ever walk
this earth, Jake & Gracie. Best friends while we were lucky enough to have them in our
lives and I pray, running in fields together somewhere once again, waiting on the other
side of the Rainbow Bridge for us....

Jake
Jake was my heinz 57 pound dog. I have no idea what he was a mix of other than part
goofball part absolute love! He started out as the most hyper pup and grew into the
most laid back, gentle soul. I don't know if i've ever had such a low maintenance dog
before. All he required was food and love, that simple. He would sit and let you love
on him forever....which I was always happy to do. He was one sweet, sweet boy.

Gracie
This one is very hard for me. I would always joke that I was pretty sure I gave birth to
Gracie. Gracie made me happy, plain and simple. She helped me through more than
I think any person could ever have. The joke was always, look for Gracie and you'll
find Julie, she followed me everywhere and I LOVED it. She was just the sweetest,
most wonderful dog in the world. I think her favorite thing to do was love, whether it
was me, Tim or just one of her stuffed animals that she loved so much, she was
always caring for someone. All I know is, I hope they realize how lucky they are to
have her upstairs because she is GREATLY missed down here....

Amber
Amber was the sweetest and most gentile giant. In her brief 5 years, she touched
many lives and is deeply missed. This last picture was at Web Bridge Park where she
loved to run a splash in the streams. I am certain she did this last trip for me and not her...
